POINTS
If you are interested in
knowing how many points you have accumulated, send an email to
Tira, the secretary, and she will get back to you as soon as possible.
How points can be earned with LPPA:
-
1 point for each general meeting attended
-
1 point for each committee meeting attended
-
1 points for each social event attended
-
2 points for each hour of fundraising event attended
-
2 points for each hour of volunteer service with LPPA
-
1 point for any other LPPA related event
-
1 point for submitting 10 pictures from LPPA events (E-mail them to lppapics@gmail.com )**
Officer Candidate:
-
Members must have at least
40 points for the year to run for an officer position OR
-
Members who joined in the Spring
must have at least 25 points for the Spring semester to run for
an officer position

If you plan to run please make sure you can attend next year's meetings and you have adequate and dedicated time to fulfill the responsibilities of an officer

Candidates should prepare a 3-4 minute speech
Point Rewards:
-
Awards received at the end of the year will be based on point accumulation.
(In case of a tie, the executive committee will vote)

Awards given at the end of the year will include the following: Best Officer, Outstanding Member of the Year, Most Outstanding Volunteer (Eligibility for Best Officer will include members of executive committee, excluding the President and Vice President)
** Pictures must be useable and relevant, meaning not a picture of the sky or the ground, but an active picture that adequately portrays LPPA and our activities.
**In addition, no more than 10 general meeting pics may be sent per semester per person.
