Welcome!

MMBSS is a student run group at the University of Texas. Though the name suggests that only Micro and Molecular majors are welcome, that is untrue! All majors are welcome!

What do you do?

Biweekly Meetings - Interesting speakers from a large variety of fields within biology, anywhere from Patent Law to Cancer Research to Summer Research Opportunities

  • Interested in research? We have large amounts of information about various labs across campus and can help you find one that you like!

  • Social events include MMBSS sponsored parties, ice cream socials, lunches, and much more!

  • We also participate in community events like Explore UT, Parents weekend, and others around the city of Austin.

  • Open to discussion about science issues, especially those of the micro and molecular nature.

Who can join?
