A bit of history
First, a little chapter history.
Mu Theta Gamma of Mu Phi Epsilon was first
installed on November 20th, 1920. It became an active chapter on
January 26th, 1926. In 1934, the charter was withdrawn. Mu Theta
Epsilon was installed on November 24th, 1941. By chapter request, the
original name of Mu Theta was granted this chapter on October 25th, 1948.
Austin also has an alumni chapter that has regular meetings and events.
Our Goals
We are dedicated to music and friendship. We spread music through the
community in various service projects and concerts. Our members are
able to build friendships with people having a common interest.
Eligibility
We are open to any graduate or undergraduate student who is a music
major or minor.
