Weekly Activities

Roommate Hook-Up
Looking for a Muslim roommate to help you get through the year? You’re not alone, and we’re here to help.The best way to look is to add yourself to the Roommate Lookup Database. You can also hit us with an email as early as possible and we can keep you updated with possible locations and others who are looking for roommates.

UT MSA Guide
With one of the largest campuses in the nation, getting around UT as well as meeting new people can be a little rough at first. We can show you around campus, show you the official Muslim hang-out spots, or even just go chill. All you gotta do is hit the digits.

Around UT
The MSA Office
Student Union 5th Floor AKA The MSA Office is where you’ll find many Muslim students hanging out or relaxing between classes throughout the week. The MSA organization office is also located on the 5th floor (hence the nickname). Come on by and say salaam to your brothers and sisters. To get to the 5th floor, take the elevator in the Union up to the 4th floor and then take the stairs directly ahead of the main elevator to the 5th floor.
Nueces Mosque
Nueces Mosque is the student mosque located on west campus, within walking distance of UT. The Nueces Mosque Executive Committee work closely with the MSA throughout the year. The Mosque conveniently provides two khutbas each Friday to accommodate for students’ schedules. The First khutbah begins at 1pm, and second starts at 2:05pm.
