PAACC offers a free GRE prep course to students preparing to take the test. This years GRE prep course will be held on Saturday, September 12th and Saturday, October 3rd on the third floor of the LBJ School. Interested students should contact us at PAACCarchives@gmail.com.
United Nations of Food
Last year the United Nations of Food was held on Nov. 18. PAACC invited students, faculty, and staff to bring dishes that represent their cultural heritage. Some of the dishes included Japanese curry; Swedish meatballs; Serbian gibanica; Albanian stuffed bell peppers and rice; a Vegamite sampler from New Zealand; Spam musubi, a Japanese/Hawaiian dish, and enchiladas and sopa de arroz.

Diversity Speaker (Brown Bag Lecture) Series
"Who Then Will Speak for the Common Good?"
On April 21, 2009, PAACC hosted "Who Then Will Speak for the Common Good" as part of the Barbara Jordan Statue dedication activities. The event featured Max Sherman (former LBJ dean), Beverly Kearney (U.T. Women's Track and Field Coach), and Rodney Ellis (Texas Senator). Read more about the event here.
