General Information Regarding PSA Cricket Tournament – Spring 2005

1. Each team must have a minimum of 8 players

2. Participation Fee:
       $ 6 for PSA members
       $ 8 for non PSA members

3. You can pay the fee online at this page using the link provided below. Your registration will not be complete if your payment is not received by the deadline. To ensure that your team is included in the match timetable, you must pay the fees before the deadline.

4. Individual participants interested in playing but unable to find themselves a team send us an email and we will put you in a team (no guarantees though)

5. Registration Deadline: 11:59PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2005

6. Teams will play their first round matches on Friday evening or on Saturday. Majority of the tournament will take place all day on Saturday. Please be cautioned that teams might be asked to play more than one match on Saturday to finish their rounds. The final match must end by noon on Sunday

Rules and Regulations for the PSA Cricket Tournament – Spg 2005

1. All ICC rules regarding the code of conduct of players will be followed. Please note that the umpires have full authority to disqualify a player from a match/ the tournament in case of unnecessary roughness, sledging or inappropriate behavior. The power to decide what qualifies for unnecessary roughness, sledging or inappropriate behavior also rests with the umpire.

2. All ICC rules of play will be followed except for the few exceptions listed below - Only 8 players play for a team - Matches will be 8 overs/ innings - A batsman can not be adjudged LBW - Bowlers will be allowed a maximum of 2 overs/ innings

3. The one legal bouncer/ over rule stands in the PSA Tournament.

4. One player can only play for one team. In case of a player appearing for multiple teams, the player will be instantly disqualified from the tournament.

5. Teams arriving late will not be allowed to play their match. A walkover will be given to the opposing team arriving on time. In case of both teams showing up late, match will be considered a drawn game.

6. In case of two teams ending up with the same number of points, the one with the better run-rate will advance. In case of a drawn/ tied semi-final, the team with a better run-rate including the semi-final will advance.

7. The decision taken by a PSA official will be considered final.
