Babysitting opportunities:
---(Posted by Elyse Portillo) Babysitter needed for 5 year old (Kindergarten). Jack needs to be picked up from Casis Elem. on Monday/Wed OR Tues/Thurs this fall. Need him picked up at 2:45 on those days and taken home until 5:30. Pemberton Heights off of Harris Blvd. Contact Jenni Chester: 512.632.4787.
---(Posted by Elyse Portillo) Hello Ladies! I babysit for a wonderful woman...she's an associate dean
at the law school. Her boys are Joshua-3 and John-5 (both precious, but a little rambunctious), and they live in South Austin. They pay very well (she guarantees you $120 a week, and just balances the hours) and are very flexible. Here's what they need: We need someone for 2-3 days/week (Tuesday and Wednesday and maybe a third depending on when John's soccer practice will be) and occasional weekends (mostly Saturday mornings for soccer) to pick Joshua up from the UT Child Development Center on campus, and to pick John up from his after-school program (which is held at his school in Circle C) and take them to the park to play, to McDonald's, bring them home, etc. We'd like Joshua to be picked up around 3ish and John to be picked up once they get to Circle C. One of us should be home by 6, though there may be a day or two when we're a bit late. John will again do soccer starting in September, so on some days he'll need to be dropped off at soccer practice until Mac or I arrive, then Joshua will need to go home. Of course, no info yet on when the practice will be :-) Both boys will be in swimming from M-Th until 14 September -- likely at 5:30 at the Circle C pool. The pay is $12/hour but we'll again guarantee 10/week so I won't have to remember to count hours. If you're interested, e-mail MDickerson@law.utexas.edu, or call (512) 232-1311 - office.
---(Posted by Rachel Cook) I have a favor: my god-sister (a Texas Phi Lamb alum) is wanting to employ someone for the fall (and potentially the spring). She has 3 adorable little
girls. She is looking for one day a week for about 5 hours. The day of the week
and the hours that day are negotiable. She is looking at paying $10/hour (also
flexible). Her sitters are in highschool and clearly will not have the ability
to watch kids during the day. So, if you could ask around to see who needs a
part time job, I would really appreciate it.
