Our Mission Statement        To educate our members on careers in veterinary medicine and to provide information to our members regarding entrance             requirements to the various veterinary colleges.        To accomplish the above objective by sponsoring speakers who are in the field of veterinary medicine, sponsoring trips to veterinary             related facilities, and keeping printed materials on current veterinary college requirements and veterinary medicine in general.        To provide a social context in which to meet fellow pre-veterinary students, pre-veterinary advisors, local veterinarians, and anyone else             interested in the veterinary field.        To provide information regarding volunteer activities that members can join. Dues One Semester: $10 Full Year: $15 T-Shirt with Membership: $10 T-Shirt without Membership: $12 Membership Requirements Active Status Point System:   All members are required to obtain 10 points per semester to be considered active.   4 points from meetings (1 point per meeting) 3 points from field trips (Points awarded at the descretion of the activity coordinator) 3 points from volunteering with the club (1 point per hour) The last point can come from any of the three areas.   All active members will be eligable for "active member" benefits.   Subscribe to the PVA Listserv for Meeting and Field Trip Reminders and Updates!
