Vet School Info |
|
Considering Texas A&M? Since there's not a "Pre-Vet" major here at UT, our advisors have provided us with some useful guidelines and prerequisites for applying to vet school. Keep in mind, that this information is relevant for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University and may not be applicable to other institutions! For more Texas A&M CVM admisssions information, go here. Or visit their main site for additional details. As of Fall 2010, the interview process for Texas A&M CVM is being changed: Instead of interviewing with a panel there will be seven "scenarios," each presented in a different room. You will have time to read a "scenario" and related questions which are posted on the door to each room. You then enter the room and have eight minutes to explain your answers to a small panel of two or three people. PVA alumni who went through the interview process for Texas A&M's vet school have provided some sample questions for potential applicants to consider. Although you may not be interviewed with such questions in the new "scenario" process, these questions will still help you prepare.
