Home History Meetings Officers Experiments Schools FAQs

Welcome to the Project S.E.E.E. homepage!

Project S.E.E.E (Science Enrichment in Elementary Education) is an organization that was created to give children in local underprivileged elementary schools greater exposure to science and math, to encourage them to further their education, and to provide them with role models to look up to.

The math and science learned at the elementary level is essential and enriching. Members of Project S.E.E.E travel to their designated schools to lead hands-on science experiments and teach relevant lessons. By participating in the activities, students learn about the scientific method and develop the knowledge and skills needed to pass the Science TAKS. The kids prefer doing the hands on experiments or watching the live demonstrations rather than filling out tedious worksheets.

Project S.E.E.E provides a break for both the educator and the kids. Additionally, seeing college students take the time out of their busy schedules to visit the schools makes the younger elementary kids feel special and encouraged. At this young and impressionable age, kids need to know that they are cared about and that their math and science education is important.

If you would like to meet with an officer please email them to schedule a meeting time.
