Mechanics
In "fuck and make a wish" magick, [your pleasure, movement and togetherness] create the energy, and then the orgasm releases the symbol to do your will in the world. 

It can be hard to keep concentrating on the symbol at orgasm. You can release it at the beginning of orgasm [rather than when you're all the way there]. If you're a man with a female partner, wait for her so that you can orgasm together or at least close in time. If you are one of those men who can go on after you come, keep doing that. Otherwise work on holding out. 

The "fuck and make a wish" technique is very simple. If you are doing it right, you will know it. If something is wrong, one or both of you will know that too. In that case, your partner may be unaware of a problem or may not understand it, so tell him or her. It is important to talk about whatever is not right, so you can correct it. There are techniques to solve physical problems. 

There is a "magical spot" for men - it's the prostate. Massaging the prostate can give a man a full-body orgasm like women have and many men don't. One way is to massage with a fist on the perineum. Another way is to use a rubber glove and stick a finger in the anus, and about 2 or 3 inches inside [on the forward wall] you can press on the prostate. 

For women there is also a magic spot [in addition to the one that everyone knows about ;-)]. It is called the G spot. It is about 3 or 4 inches inside the vagina [on the upper or forward surface]. Its position varies with the individual woman, but you can find it by feeling inside. It may have a different texture than the rest of the vagina, sometimes almost a rough surface. Stimulating it can evoke strong feelings - sexual pleasure, also tears or other strong feelings, physical or emotional. 

You can feel for or stimulate the G-spot with a finger, but fingers can be too rough. A good way to find it and/or stimulate it with the penis is in a female-superior position. The man lies on his back, a pillow under his butt, and the woman gets astride him and leans back a little. Besides being good for getting at the G-spot, this position also reverses the usual sex roles of patriarchal culture. The trade-off is that the woman has to do the work.

Sex Magick, Energy and the Chakras
Here is an exercise: sex in the yab yum position. The man sits in the full lotus position [see illustration]. The woman sits on his lap facing him. This is the divine Tantra position. If you look at classic illustrations from Buddhist and Hindu culture of couples having sex, you will see couples this position and also one where the man is standing and the woman is facing him and wrapping one leg around.

The advantage of these positions is that the chakras are aligned - that is, each chakra of one person being lined up with the corresponding chakra of the other person. The object [in this type of sex magick] is to exchange energy at the chakras - each chakra of one person exchanging energy with the corresponding chakra of the other person.

In all spiritual sex magick, awareness is very important. Devote all your energy to the parts that are touching. Red energy [see illustration] flows between the two of you in a circular pattern. As aligned chakras become charged, you can feel it. It may be a tingling sensation or just a feeling that the situation is "right". Sometimes if you get this going on you need not even move; your chakras vibrate in the same rhythm. 

Once this happens with a lower chakra, then the next higher ones can become aligned and energy will go thru them also. At each step, the energy goes through all of the chakras that have become aligned so far. in this way, the process can proceed up the body until all the chakras are aligned and vibrating together. This is illustrated in the second drawing:

Concerns, Answers and Tips
[Audience member asks:] Which person raises and which lowers? [Kain answers:] Usually the energy goes up the woman and down the man. This can be reversed. You may be unable to tell which way it is going. But it does not matter; you can disregard this issue, as it can work fine either way. 

Getting the chakras aligned and eneryg flowing, or any other kind of sex magick, can take more than one try. There can be energy blockages in any of the chakras. Often there is blockage at the heart, or even at the root. It's OK to stop if it is not working. 

[Another audience question:] Which way do the chakras vibrate? [Answer:] Generally clockwise. [Question:] Clockwise as you face the chest, or as you look out from your own body, or from above? [Answer:] In lateral plane [not as seen from above].

 The chakras go all the way through - front to back or back to front of the body. You should try to clear them [i.e., remove the energy blockages mentioned above] and spin them. You can massage them counterclockwise, or try to clear them with a general massage. It can be hard to clear them all. 

Sometimes with this type of sex magick, there is some degree of "body swapping". That is, you can feel your partner's body as he or she feels it; you feel his or her sensations, thoughts, emotions. Sometimes this just happens. You must be very well grounded, because this can be a powerful and dangerous experience. 

What about a full exchange or merging of consciousness? I've heard of this happening, but only under the influence of psychedelic drugs.

Sex Magick and Drugs
This brings up the subject of drugs and their use in sex magick. Be very careful if you use any of the psychedelic drugs. Having a "bad trip" in the middle of sex might have lasting bad effects.

The drugs I'm referring to as the "psychedelic" ones are MDMA or "Ecstacy"; LSD; and psilocybin. These all have physical effects on your body, on your brain; they are dangerous. Many people report that sex magick under the influence of these drugs is less "genuine" or less profound than without them. Also, whatever you can do with the help of drugs, you can do better if you can do it without them. 

You can try to attain the "body swapping" experience, but generally if it happens, or to the extent it does, it is a natural by-product of sex magick. And if it does happen, it's not dangerous. I've never heard of anyone being unable to "get back".

Totem Animals and Drawing Down
You can invoke or bring down or bring up the energy of an animal. It should be the same one for both of you - or at least, one should not be the prey of the other! 

If you don't have a totem, any animal will do, as long as it means something to you. You can imitate the gestures of your animal - for example, grasping the back of the female's neck like male tigers do while fucking. 

There are two schools of thought about drawing down gods or goddesses in sex magick. One view is that it's sacrilege, disrespectful. The other view, which I agree with, is that it is perfectly natural and a fine thing to do. 

If you're going to do a drawing down, her is my advice. Prepare and cast the circle first. And then don't start the drawing down first; instead start your sex session first. Get to the stage where you have the penis in the vagina, but don't move much yet. Then start the drawing-down. The partners shuld decide how to proceed from this point on. The goddess or god you invite shoulud be one you are familiar with. And it should be a [relatively benevolent] one and not, for example, a god(ess) of death.
