Spring 2003 Results

Harris Kempner Intersectional Regatta
Hosted by Texas A&M University at Galveston
January 18-19, 2003

We completed 20 races with a building and backing northwester, sunny skies,
and temperatures in the 40s and 50s. 
The wind on Saturday was 6-14 knots from the northwest with 10-degree shifts;
Sunday wind was 4-6 knots from the southeast.

UT Regatta: Qualifier #1

	Saturday started off with warm weather but no wind. The wind filled in around
lunch time from the South and races started quickly. The breeze built from
0 knots to 10-12 in a couple minutes and then stayed fairly constant as
the day went on. This allowed for some close racing in the largest SEISA
regatta in recent history. 

	I would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. May for doing
race committee, Mark Andre for doing mark set and TAMU for bringing boats.
With out their help the event could not have been the success it was.
