I was devastated when I learned that my alma mater was conned out of $30,000 by the corpulent Moore to bad mouth our country and our President. Can I transfer my degree to A&M or Tech where real people are educated?

Transcript? (Apr 21, 2003)
I know it's been asked a few times, but does anyone know where I can find a transcript of the speech?

Thanks! (Apr 20, 2003)
Michael Moore's talk was absolutely one of the best things that happened on campus since I came here 3 years ago. He is a true patriot, concerned about the future of this country. There is no doubt that the Bush Administration is making the U.S. a very unsafe place to live in both internationally and domestically, and Moore's criticisms are well-founded.

I am proud to be a student of the university that brought such an ideal speaker.

I am apalled that someone of oppposing political viewpoints than mine was brought to U.T. to speak. Universities are hardly the place for discussion and diversity on the campus. Especially Michael Moore, who is a commie, liberal who exaggerates without backing up facts and criticizes the President with personal attacks, stating that he was born of a wealthy rich elite.

No speaker should speak above a 5th grade reading level and they should be infamous in their abilities to speak publicy.

Disgrace.. (Apr 16, 2003)
Michael Moore and his mouth are an absolute disgrace to this country. I feel ashamed for him regarding his filth that he has spewed forth about our President.

As a tax paying Texas resident and the sister of a UT alumni and retired U.S. Naval officer I am appalled that a university of such stature would pay to hear the half truths and tripe spewed by Michael Moore.

Personally, I was insulted again to hear another Hollywood star use his high school education and his golden statue to influence our society. Where was Mr. Moore during the conflict in Bosnia? Tell me again what education our administration has again?

More Moore (Apr 15, 2003)
Michael Moore should be prerequisite deprogramming for all the huckleberries confusing patriotism with blind nationalism entering school. Dissent made this country, dissent is keeping it from being turned into a police state by Bush, Ashcroft et al. See it, hear it, read it, but don't blindly take it on "faith."

Michael Moore (Apr 15, 2003)
Dear Students,
As a former Liberal Arts student and proud UT graduate, I am very concerned about the choices my university makes in regards to guest lecturers. Not only did the university invite an obviously unpatriotic and leftist individual in Michael Moore, he also got paid $25,000! I do not know where the money came from, but I do know that it could have been used for something that would have been of actual substance to the student body. I cannot believe that the university fell for a hid
