Tuesday, Oct 17, 2006 - SIA held a lecture-talk on the topic of spirituality during the month of Ramadan. Sheikh Jafar Muhibullah, from North Carolina (currently serving as the resident scholar of the Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association, Austin TX) discussed the philosophy of Ramadan and the importance of building the spiritual self. The discussion was followed by a Q/A session and ended with Salaat (prayers) and Iftar (breaking of the fast).
