Welcome to Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority: Xi Chapter's Website. Since April 1990, SLG has committed itself to empower all women of culture. Founded at the University of Iowa, SLG has over 74 chapters, 11 colonies and 7 Alumni Associations throughout the United States. The Xi chapter here at the University of Texas at Austin is the 14th established chapter of SLG and the 1st in the state of Texas. Our sisterhood has spread from coast to coast and continues to be the fastest growing Latina-based sorority.
