Youth and Education

Youth and Education is a program that works with tutoring children. This year we are working with an organization called "Neighborhood Longhorns." For our program, volunteers meet once a week for an hour at a local Austin school with a nearby campus. We mainly tutor and mentor the kids of various ages.

UT Plays

UT PLAYS benefits the abused and neglected children currently living at Austin Children's Shelter through events and fundraisers. Volunteer for monthly activities with the children or help with fundraisers to assist Austin Children's Shelter.

UT Reads

Pick up a book and read to children! UT READS encourages and develops strong reading skills in children attending first to fourth grades. UT READS consists of monthly Read-A-Thons at our participating elementary schools. During each event, volunteers read to a class of students or one-on-one with a child. UT READS also sends volunteers to the Heart House to mentor children in reading to raise their standardized scores.

UT HOPE

Organization devoted to helping with the spread of information and opportunities for the healthcare of underserved communities. Help make people aware of their opportunities and help them utililize them. We will be volunteering at hospitals and free health clinics
