UT Shares

UT SHARES is a UT Student Volunteer Board community service program that is based on the need to care for and give attention to our elder population. Through this program, volunteers get to "adopt a grandparent" for the year, to whom they may read to, play cards, watch movies, take walks, or just talk. More than 400 hours a year have been volunteered by students in UT SHARES to care for Austin's elders.
