Texas FIRST

Texas F.I.R.S.T. (Freshmen Integrating Respect, Service, and Team Work) is a service organization especially for freshmen students. Texas F.I.R.S.T. is a great way to interact with fellow Longhorns and get involved in the on and off campus community through a wide variety of service projects. It is a flexible organization and a good opportunity to develop leadership and make new friends through service!

Longhorn Outreach

Longhorn Outreach is a fun and flexible group any UT student can join at any time. Longhorn Outreach selects various volunteer opportunities each month involving a wide array of causes including: the environment, animals, elderly, children, poverty-stricken, and the local needs of the Austin community. Events and meetings are not mandatory, which allows student volunteers the flexibility to participate in their spare time.
