We are honored to be awarded the 2010-2011 Swing Out Award for Best Social Organization by the University of Texas Leadership & Ethics Institute!
While the Texas Sweethearts stay busy by giving back to the community and supporting our Longhorns, we also make time to enjoy ourselves in several social events throughout the year that allow us to escape from the everyday stress of college life and schoolwork to bond with our Sweetheart sisters.
In the fall, some of the Sweetheart's major social events include a TX/OU Weekend Trip to Dallas, Parents' Weekend, Destination Unknown, Winter Banquet & Formal, Big/Lil events, and several themed social mixers with various male organizations and athletic teams on campus. In the spring, the Sweethearts host events such as Date Skate, Find Your Valentine, Crush, Alumni Weekend, and Senior Call Boat Party on Lake Travis.
