While the Texas Sweethearts stay busy by giving back to the community and supporting their Longhorns, they also make time to enjoy themselves in several social events throughout the year. Through these social events, the Sweethearts are able to escape from the everyday stress of college life and schoolwork to socialize with their Sweetheart sisters.
Texas Sweethearts was voted Best Social Organization 2010-2011 by UT Leadership and Ethics Institute!
In the fall, some of the Sweetheart's major social events include an OU Weekend Trip, Parents Weekend Brunch, Winter Banquet and Formal, and several themed social mixers with various male organizations. In the spring, the Sweethearts host events such as Crush and Semi-formal Cocktail Party. Also, as a farewell to our Seniors, the Sweethearts organize a "Senior Call" Boat Party on Lake Travis.
