The Tamil Cultural Association is a registered student organization at The University of Texas at Austin.

Established on July 15, 1991, the TCA is amongst the oldest Tamil student organizations in  USA. The TCA endeavors to foster the Tamil language, culture and performing arts in the Central Texas area and facilitate the gathering of students and families interested in Tamil culture.

The TCA conducts and sponsors a wide variety of programs including classical performing arts, movies, dramas, camping trips etc. Celebrations are also held for major festivals like Pongal, Tamil New Year and Diwali .
