Texans For Israel

Recognized as the best political/activist organization at America's largest University, Texans for Israel (TFI) serves as a forum for students who share a common interest in Israel and a strong, mutually-beneficial U.S.-Israel relationship. Since its establishment in 1991, TFI has become a means to exchange ideas, experiences and information about Israel, Middle East politics and culture, and Zionist interests.
TFI works closely with nationally- and internationally- recognized pro-Israel organizations including Hamagshimim and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). We also maintain close relationships with Members of Congress, state and local officials, University faculty and staff, various campus student organizations, and the Israeli Consulate in Houston.
TFI hosts Israeli cultural experiences, monthly coffeehouse discussion sessions, and other informative events. Additionally, TFI sponsors pro-Israel lobbying, brings elected officials to campus, and rallies to inform the UT community of Israeli causes.
