For Yom Ha'atzmaut this year give Israel a present that is a gift to the entire world. Plant a tree in Jerusalem!

Did you know that Israel is the only country in the world that will leave this century with more trees than it started with? That's right! Because of efforts by the Jewish National Fund more than 205 million trees have been planted in Israel since 1948. Additionally, JNF has developed more than 300,000 acres of woodlands and created over 440 major parks and picnic areas. Fund

TFI has joined with JNF's Campus Hill Project to create a Texans For Israel garden in Israel. Situated in American Independence Park in Jerusalem, the Campus Hill Project has been dedicated on behalf of all college students across North America. This garden, begun with 100 trees purchased by University of Texas students for Yom Ha'atzmaut 1999, serves as a tangible testament to the eternal friendship between the United States, Texas, and Israel. Students can visit the garden beginning in late 1999 and can continue to purchase trees for it for years to come.

TFI urges you to plant YOUR roots in Israel today by purchasing a tree for yourself. After making your commitment, please consider buying trees as gifts in honor of special occasions or in memory of friends and relatives. All donors will receive personalized certificates suitable for framing and display.
