This morning saw too much weather to go out. So while rain thundered on the roof and lightning flashed in the skylights we erged and did core workouts. It might have just been me, but I was looking forward to doing 1k pieces on the water. Our boat was down on the top 8 on wednesday and this would have been a great opportunity to climb back. Hopefully we can beat them tomorrow. Saturday is going to be 4 by 2k. No doubt it will be tough, but so is the competition at SIRA.

Our lightweight four has been ranked 4th and 15th in 2 national polls. Although we were disappointed about not winning at SDCC, this recognition helped to soften the blow. We work hard day in and day out so when we get some recognition from someone not on the team, it feels really good.
