TEXAS CREW 2008
As SIRAs come to a close, TX Crew prepares for ACRA
Following another successful showing at the SIRA regional regatta in Oak Ridge, TN, Texas Crew is now gearing up for the 1st annual ACRA
national invitational regatta on Memorial Day weekend. Highlights from the previous weekend include a 3rd place showing in the Grand Finals for our MVL8+,
as well as a 5th place showing in the grands for the MN8+. Other boats with solid showing included the MV8+ and MN4+.
The American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) National Championships will include many of the top club teams in the nation, such as Virginia, Michigan, and Grand Valley.
The race will be held on May 24th and 25th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and should provide an opportunity for many elite club programs to showcase their best lineups. We look foward to
a great turnout for this landmark event.
Lastly, Texas Crew wishes to extend its thanks to all those who make both the SIRA and ACRA regattas possible.
