The Texas Revue Committee consists of a diverse group of UT students and three outstanding advisors. Without their dedication and support, Texas Revue would not be a success. All members have various degree plans and affliations with other campus organizations. Co-Chair and Chair positions are selected by an application process at the end of the spring semester. General Committee positions are selected the second week of school in the fall semester. Members serve on one of four sub-committees: recruiting, logistics, publicity, and special programs.

The Co-Chairs
JoAnna Chin and Pragati (Jinu) Khara
The outstanding
masterminds behind Texas Revue! The co-chairs serve to facilitate
the coordination of the Recruiting, Logistics, Publicity,
and Special Programs committees, as well as oversee the committee
as a whole. Collaborating with the sub-committees, the co-chairs
delegate and participate in committee tasks in order to produce
the biggest talent show at UT

Logistics
Chairs: Atma Kabad and Ann Yu
The name says it all. They handle all
logistical aspects of Texas Revue - from planning the technical
aspects of tryouts, to hiring vendors for the Main Mall Show,
to coordinating the Bass Concert Hall production. The Logistics
committee works closely with each act in the show, and serves
as their liaison to the lighting and sound technicians. Their
goal is to make Texas Revue as polished and professional as
possible.

Special Programs
Chairs: Indira Khara and Becky Shaw
The Special Programs Committee offers
their input on social aspects of Texas Revue. In the fall,
their main focus is on committee bonding. Their spring semester
responsibilities include designing the introduction for the
Bass Concert Hall show, reserving dresses and tuxes for the
committee, creating all media for both shows, and planning
the committee's end-of-the-year banquet.

Publicity
Chairs: Komal Shah and Emma Donaldson
This committee handles all publicity
for the Texas Revue show with the goal of achieving sell-out
attendance at both the Main Mall and Bass Concert Hall shows.
They acheive this through promotions and activities, including
designing t-shirts, hanging flyers and posters around campus,
an A-Frame, handing out freebies on West Mall, ads in Daily
Texan, and more.

Recruiting
Chairs: Justin Chen and Chris Lin
The Recruiting committee's main goal
is to recruit as many talented acts as possible to try-out
for Texas Revue in late February. They conduct information
sessions for any potential acts, are the main point of contact
for those who wish to audition, and coordinate the sign-up
process for auditions. The Recruiting committee also brainstorms
and contacts potential judges for the Bass Concert Hall show.
