Prevent truth decay: do philosophy

Ex Nihilo is a student-run philosophy journal, which seeks to serve as an outlet for undergraduate philosophy essays of exceptional quality. The journal is produced by the Undergraduate Philosophy Association, and supported in large part by the Department of Philosophy at The University of Texas at Austin. Ex Nihilo is published in the spring, and issues are often published in print as well as online.

In the spring of each year, the Ex Nihilo Editorial Board also hosts an Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, inviting selected submitters to the journal to read and discuss their respective works. This year's conference is April 25-26, 2008.

Spring 2008 publication

Due to the unusually high volume of submissions received this year, Ex Nihilo will probably not go to press until mid-May of 2008. Authors should hear soon about their submission's status. This edition will be a two-year volume, encompassing the works accepted for the Spring 2007 volume.
