Texas Longhorn Chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary

OTM Categories

Program OTM form

  • Social Program - for programs that focus on being social (examples: casino nights or pizza parties)
  • Community Service Program - for programs that focus on doing something good for the community (Habitat for Humanity project or canned food drives)
  • Educational Program - for programs that focus on educating people about something (sexual assault awareness or study habits)
  • Diversity Program - for programs that encourage awareness of different cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies (World Religions Panel, Black History Month)

Other OTM form

  • Student - for any student at the University of Texas at Austin (except RAs, URHA or NRHH Exec Board Member, or Advisor), for benefiting his or her residence hall, or simply doing a spectacular job balancing all of his or her student activities this month
  • Advisor - for any URHA or RHC advisor, for being a tremendous advisor during the previous month.
  • Executive Board Member - for any URHA or NRHH Executive Board Member, for doing a great job as an exec this month
  • Resident Assistant - for any RA, for doing a wonderful job as an RA this month
  • Community - for any group of people that permanently work or live together (a floor, hall, building staff, RHC, RA staff, etc.)
  • Spotlight - You can nominate anyone or anything that doesn't fit into any other category for this award. This could be custodial staffs, clerical assistants, DHFS employees, anyone and everyone related to our residence halls. If you notice something phenomenal this month that doesn't qualify for any of the other awards, nominate it for the Spotlight OTM.
  • NRHH Chapter - This category is to recognize an outstanding NRHH chapter, not an outstanding NRHH member. Nominations should be group specific and not concentrated on the efforts of a few individuals. Obviously, since there is only one NRHH chapter at UT-Austin, nominations for NRHH Chapter OTM will primarily be for regional and national competition.
  • NCC - This category is to recognize our National Communications Coordinator (at UT-Austin, our VP-E Crystal Lehoski) for doing an outstanding job interacting with other schools, organizing our delegation for conferences, or handling all the hard work she has to do. Again, as with the NRHH Chapter OTM, this will be used for regional and national competition.
