I am a Senior completing a double major in Anthropology
and Religious Studies. My focus is primarily in the
subdiscipline of Physical Anthropology. I have worked
on several archaeological sites including the Gault
Project and the mapping of a historic cemetery in
Bastrop County. I spent the Summers of 2003 and 2004
traveling abroad. I am a four-year member of the
Texas Archeological Society, and a current contributor
to the eSkeletons Project. Upon graduation from UT
in May 2007, I will complete a senior honors thesis
which will include an analysis of the dentition in a
prehistoric Native American population. I plan to
pursue a graduate degree in Paleoanthropolgy in the
coming years. (Personal Website)

I am a junior completing a double major in Anthropology and Spanish. My concentration is Cultural Anthropology, especially in the Latin American region. I will be participating in the Belize Archaeological Project this summer of ‘07. I plan to work as a Spanish teacher after graduation in May 2008 in order to aid my graduate school funding before pursuing a graduate degree in Cultural Anthropology. Upon completing my graduate studies, I would like to volunteer with the Peace Corp for a few years.

the role of performance in the denaturalization of gender. After
graduating May
of 2007, I plan to take a year for “real world experience” (ie.
academically
relevant job/internship) before entering into graduate studies for
Cultural
Anthropology.
