Shinai Maintenance

Taking apart the shinai and reassembling it is as easy (or hard) as shown by clicking on the picture below. If you are a beginner in our beginner's class and are having problems, please ask one of the seniors in next practice.

It is a good idea to inspect your shinai after every practice for splinters and cracks. If you believe that your shinai is beginning to become unsafe, please talk to one of the seniors about it before the next practice.
