Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a US based non-for-profit organization, which involves over 600 colleges and universities worldwide. We are the University of Texas in Austin branch, and we have been a team for about 3 years.

SIFE aims to educate the community about free enterprise and help individuals achieve personal goals through learning about economics, management, marketing, and education.

SIFE teams are comprised of college students who, by teaching the community about free enterprise, acquire real-life understanding of how the economy works and develop essential skills of leadership, teamwork, and communication.

Over $280,000 is awarded to winning teams annually. Teams also win national recognition by being covered in publications like Business Week, Fortune, Entrepreneur, and Forbes. Thus, the members not only gain valuable experience through SIFE, but are also exposed to enormous career opportunities and networking.
