Table Checkout: Go into the Main Building (Tower). Walk to the info desk at the center of the first floor. Grab a table out of the box to the left of the info desk. Tell them what organization you're with. They will look for a yellow authorization sheet in their notebook. Then they will ask you for the number written on the table and record it as being in your/Voices for Choice's possession. Then, take the table outside, find an open spot and stand the table up, preferably facing the tower steps.
Table Setup: Go to the Reservations desk on 4th floor of the Union, located direct across from the elevator/stairs in the center of the Union (as opposed to those near the front). Ask for the Voices for Choice key at the front desk, then get the banner, donation box, and other appropriate materials (voter guides, condoms, pamphlets, etc.). Drop the key off at the front desk and setup the table (put the banner in front of the table using bungee cords, display info, sale items, etc).
Table Check-in: Unless you know that there will be someone coming to replace you at the table, you must return the table to the Main Building. If the table is not returned to the Main Building by 4:30 PM, we risk losing our tabling privileges!!! Simply collapse the table, take it to the info desk on the first floor of the Main Building (Tower). Make sure that the info person marks off our table, then place it in the box to the left of the info desk.
Equipment Lock-Up: Take all the stuff from the table back to the locker and close it up. If it won't all fit, then have them keep the rest behind the front desk and contact us ASAP, so we know, and we don't annoy them any longer than necessary.
Other Rules: Never give away the last copy of anything, so we can photocopy more. Except for the t-shirts ($10) and pencils ($1) everything is free. Money/donation box must never be left unattended.
